Practical Instuctions to Patients Homeopathic medicines must be handled carefully. Keep them out of the sun. Don't touch the granules, pellets or tablets (the medicines come in different shapes and sizes). Tap them from the cap of the bottle or the plastic tube directly into your mouth. Allow them to dissolve; swallow. (Water is not necessary.) Medicines should be taken apart from meals - a few minutes before eating or 20 or 30 minutes after eating. Although coffee - both caffeinated and decaffeinated - may or may not antidote your particular homeopathic remedy, it does cause antidoting in a number of people. Play the percentages and stay off it. (If you simply cannot give up coffee, tell your homeopath and he'll find a way to work with you.) Tea, even caffeinated, is okay.
*Fingernail Polish - the following may be used: Nina-ultra 3, Clarins (Neimans, Foley's, Dillards), Artmatic (Walgreens, Eckerds), Loreal (read label), Matrix Clear (Sally Hansen Store), Sally's Beauty Supply. |
